I'll have some fun with it until I get bored...then we'll try and get 'er up to 700 or so! I haven't driven a quick car since my supercharged '05 CTSV (119mph trap). My butt tells me this Cayenne TT probably would barely trap 100-102mph. It will probably take me a little while to get used to the acceleration...and driving a manual again too.

Smile My 07 Porsche 997 with 1250 miles

I got my second Porsche and this time it is 997 Turbo 07 with 1200 miles.
It has upgrade brake and brown leather seat and sport seat.
I just had the caliber K40 installed, ceramic tint, clear bra, XM radio, blue tooth.
I am about to get the exhaust and tuning done by the local dealer.
Tubi is Porsche's choice and I am going to the dealer to hear the sound.

Everyone is scooping up these Turbo's. Yours is beautiful as well. Congratulations. Something you are going to keep stock or do you have some mods planned? Possibly some new shoes?

Very nice! Love the color combo. I went back and forth on whether to get one with ceramic brakes. I opted against for the upkeep costs that may become reality after tracking the car.

Yes, I am keeping it as stock. I am driving it everyday to work and taking it out during business lunch. I have decided to do the Tubi regular exhaust and GIAC tune with handheld controller to be done by Momemtum Porsche dealer.

I chose to do it at the dealer to prevent future warranty squabble.
My warranty runs out 2013. Do you plan to buy extended warranty on you vehicle? I am going to keep this car for 6 years or little longer.

That's cool. The best part about the Turbo is it is a wonderful DD. I'm sure the exhaust and tune will be great!

I am working on selling my CL right now. When I do start the hunt for my Turbo, I will most likely look for one that is CPO'd. I wouldn't want to have to pay for any of these parts if something breaks. Enjoy your Turbo!

intercoolers

Do you have any experiences with intercoolers?
If I do it now while we are doing the exhaust and tuning, it can be done for $3100 drive out.

If you are just doing tuning and exhaust, then an upgraded intercooler really isn't necessary in my opinion. Anyone else want to chime in. I think if you are looking to do a 700 hp kit, then an upgraded intercooler becomes necessary.

I certainly plan on it. I've been out a couple times in my Cayenne Turbo but trucks aren't really well received in the elitist Porsche crowd Now I'll fit in...

Congrats! I just joined the TT club as well. This is my 2nd P car. I owned a 99 Carrera 4 w/Techart goodies about 3 years ago. I pulled the trigger on an 07' TT with a bunch of goodies and w/14,000 miles. I got so many parts sitting in my garage that I need to clean up and move soon.

I will take some pics this weekend...
