2010 Turbo with PDK turns 10.95 at Englishtown

The weather was hot (87 degrees)and sticky. My car spun all 4 wheels until I hit third gear. Time was 10.95 at 126 MPH.
Fastest car at Englishtown Cruise night. I was only allowed one run. With lower rear tire pressure and cooler weather, I should be in the mid 10's.

Awesome power! Nobody could believe that it moved so well.

Wow! Very impressive my man! I know how horrible the DA this time of year is so that is really a very impressive run. You ran on Friday night? I'm hoping to get out there within the next week or 2 with the GT-R but maybe I'll try and get the stock PDK out there too. Congrats on an easy 10 sec run! And your 1st run too no less

I ran last night( Tuesday). It was a Cruise night and all cars got a free pass down the 1/4 mile. They do it about once or twice a season!

Do you have a roll bar in the car? If not, did they say anything to you?

Anytime we ran our car at the local strips I would get kicked out for going sub 11.499 without a bar...

I do not have a roll bar. They said that if it was a regular meet, I would be asked to leave. But on Cruise night- they only give you one run-- so, I didn't care--- infact, I was too happy to care!

Damn and last night I kept thinking to myself "if only englishtown was open" I wanted to go so badly! Would have been great to line up a stock pdk with yours.

Cheers on the run though! And you were spinning tires too! Incredible...

That is incredible! I can't imagine what that would have felt like behind the steering wheel! I love the PDK turbos.
Congrats!

The 60 foot time was great. 1.63 seconds and the 1/8 mile was 7.0 at 102.3 mph.
The car suffered at top end due to the excessive heat and humidity. With the temperature down and lower humidity, also by comparing with cars that have the same stats for 60 foot and 1/8 mile, I estimate the car should pull 10.6-10.7 at over 131 mph.

Wow! That is amazing. Congrats!

I suspect you'll be knee deep into the 10's with better weather as well.

E-town is very strict, but very fun. I got thrown off the track doing 11.1 @ 128 in a gutted interior Nissan GTR because NHRA rules for the 1/4 mile. With 1 warning, the woman in the slip booth told me to go over 11.5 because I did not have a Fire suit and a roll cage for my car... knowing she said I can run again, i figured i was only able to get one more run in, and 11.1 is to tempting to not get a 10.xx slip for the end of the day, so the second time I ran, didnt let off and i went for a low number, they shut the clock off and wouldn't give me my slip because ran better then 11.5 again.lol... I was hoping she'd cough up my sub 10.xx run but she didn't... And it was the only street car getting thrown out!

Yup, that's what turns me off about racing at the track. 3 hour drive there, 1 run, 2 hour drive back. One time I went out to E-town and I wasn't able to get a run in because a honda spilled oil all over the track.
