EXCELLENT KILL! You can see how during each shift the Vette stops accelerating and that's where the PDK just keeps pulling. Also, the Vette has a very weak 5th gear so once you get him into those mid triple digits it's an easy kill. Nice work man. Thanks for sharing.

Im actually impressed with the Z06 in that vid moreso than the PDK. Dead stop is where the PDK would have prevailed by a long shot.. Here in a useable performance context, both cars were pretty well matched.. To me useable performance is 130-150mph....
Actually, maybe the Z06 wasn't modified right. What was the HP at the wheels? I had a Z06 before and mine had 588WHP with Dyno-Dynamics, which is a very conservative Dynamometer.
When I had that car, I raced with a 540WHP (Mustang, the most conservative Dyno of all) GT-R and it was a no match. Way faster than the GT-R with 540WHP on Mustang Dyno.
The 540WHP GT-R is faster than the regular PDK and about the same as the Turbo S.
So, this Z06 must be very close to stock. Otherwise it wouldn't lose like this.
By the way, the reason the two cars move back and forth is because of the gearing. The Z06 has a stupidly tall 5th and 6th gear. That's why as soon as he puts onto the 5th gear, the car suddenly becomes lot slower than the PDK.
Anyway, Z06 is a nice car for the money but it's not mature enough, I think, and that's why I sold it. ;-)

I hate to rain on this parade but that was definitely not a "kill". You were even until the Corvette hit 5th and fell on its face in the last seconds of the race. A cammed C6Z generally traps well into the 130mph range. Something doesn't add up here
