Spoil yourself...buy 2
Spoil yourself...buy 2
I bought 1 of the wheel posts from Suncoast b/c my car manual said that you use 1 for standard brakes and 2 for pccb. I never really gave it much thought until I just took off my wheels to put on some spacers (a used set of FVD spacers complete with bolts, 7mm front, 15mm rear).
Not a big deal when taking off the wheel but it really would have been easier with 2 of the posts for putting the wheels back on the car. May have cut down on the cursing, sweating and possibly even the farting.
I took the opportunity of powerwashing the brake dust off the inside of the rims (being careful not to dislodge the wheel weights). Looks almost new again.
The wheel spacers are just right for a more aggressive look. The Potenza RE050s have a "lip" which just sticks out a bit from the fender and it looks pretty good but is now emphasizing the fact that the car needs to be lowered. Maybe next year.
If anyone is thinking of buying a wheel post, just buy 2, you're worth the extra 8 bucks.

The real reason for the 'posts' is to prevent you from having the wheel swing in on the rotor and chip it (PCCB) or dent it (steel rotor).
I have acquired 5 of the posts and typically use at least 3 when changing wheels.
