What do you guys think?

Coming from a C63 with an alcantara steering wheel what do you think of the alcantara steering wheel option for the 997? It seems to be thicker which I like and sorta reminds me of the GT3RS wheel.

For you manual guys. What is the best way to launch a 997TT 6-speed off the line?

How many miles/kms are you guys getting per tank of gas?

I'm hella excited and can't wait to start modding.

 

How do people with white cars...find them in the snow?

 

Your 63 Looks Real Nice! I have an E63/997TT myself, Love both of them. I would reccomend the Carbon wheel because it fairs very well over time (ie. Doesnt wear out, sweat wipes off etc.)

I believe the carbon insert is only on the top and botton of the wheel where I never have my hands. Since im driving manual my left hand would be at the 9'oclock position. CF looks great though. But then I would have to get the whole CF package.

Chris, congratulations. Carrara is a great color as it shows off those curves and air inlets. It's easy to keep clean as well.

Congratulations! Generally I am not a fan of white cars but the 911 Turbo is an exception - looks great in white. Great to see there are still some 3rd pedal holdouts. I love my manual. I realize all the attributes of the PDK but the 6 speed still has a much greater fun factor. Drive it in good health.

Thank you. I had the AMG Speedshift 7G Automatic and never used manaul mode with the paddles once. Just left it in auto. Seems I would do the same with PDK which would be a waste. Just need to get the 997 SSK as well
