Unfortunately we dont get those too often here in Charlotte. We are good 4-5 hours (driving) from the coast....

Can any one explain or post a thread of why cold air gives better performance and sound? Thanks for the info.

I don't know about better sound, but cooler air is denser and therefore has more oxygen in the same given volume.

Reminds me how important intercoolers are in the mod equation,i get that extra boost feeling even here in Socal on a brisk winter morning,gotta get me some intercoolers.

Always fun taking out one of the forced induction cars when temps dip into the 40's or on 'special' days around here, the 30's.

My older RWD without traction control just gets silly.

Dyno shops get really busy around this time too IME.
