Does anyone have a recommendation for a good pre-purchase inspection in Houston for a 997.1TT

Thanks

Houston has a number of places you can go.

Our recommendation is Luis @ Autodynamica.

For the two Porsches I have bought I have used dealers for the PPI's. One was very thorough, the other not so much.

That being said, Autodynamica does all my work on my current 996TT and I am very happy with them. I would not hesitate to give Luis or Jorge a call there.

handdoc,

Out of curiosity, why wouldn't you buy a car from Momentum in Houston? I'm in the market for a 997TT. I've talked to their internet salespeople a bit and they seem relatively well informed for salespeople. They usually have a pretty good selection at decent prices. What do you see as being their problem(s)?

Ricks TT

Ricks TT - which car are you looking at in the Momentum inventory? We may be looking at the same one.

Momentum generally only carries clean cars. If you want a really good PPI, including someone finding out all the service history, call Viking Sjovall of Viking Motorsports 832-250-5995

Thanks

Thanks for your recommendations. I look forward to hopefully making a purchase soon. My primary concern is over-rev's that are then not covered by the warranty. Somewhat scary to purchase a used car of this caliber but hopefully the ppi along with warranty will help lower the risk a little.

Is the car going to be covered by CPO? If so any over-revs would have been identified- if they were in the "danger" zone you probably wouldn't get CPO.
