ok, some updates..

I went to the Porsche Service, they checked the car and did a roadtest, and they say that my MAF sensors are not working properly. The nominal values has to be 0.9 to 1.2 max. but mine shows 1.23 to 1.25.. The service supervisor told me that when this values reaches 1.3, i'll get a warning sign. and he says that i need to change both MAF sensors then it will be ok. There's another 997TT which is waiting to be repaired, we will install its MAF sensors to mine and check if the problem really is these sensors.

Anyway, the curious thing is, I brought the car to another shop (the owner of the shop is an ex porsche service supervisor) first he said the problem was the wastegates, he repaired it then we did roadtest, everything seemed to be fine. the car was pushing 1.2 bar. after 2 hours same thing happened again. back to 1.0 bar. He checked again and said that there's an oil in the intake hose and it was wet. But the passenger side hose was clean and dry. He said that my turbocharger starts blowing and i need to replace it with the new one.

So, in conclusion, i'll go to the service again to check it if it's the maf sensors but i'm so desperate.. my car is 2008 and has only 11K miles. I don't know if they can repair it under warranty..

Any ideas or suggestions ?

Tuki,

the oil in the intercooler hose is absolutely normal, the turbocharger oiling system is at one side and this is why there is some oil there. The mechanic should know that, if it was me i would never take my car there again. Replacing a turbocharger will cost you around 5k just for nothing.

Leave your MAFs as they are...997TT has two of them and so the limit of them in order to have 5,0V output in each one and blow them is almost 1300hp...They simply wont blow due to flow...
I need you to describe your problem once again...

Do you have a remapped ECU? What fuel are you using?

If you have a racefuel program and have recently used racefuel then use pump fuel the car will not behave properly due to knock sensor pulling timing to protect your engine. Pull the battery for 5 mins and see if something changes.

This is what happend to me the first time i used racefuel, it was scary, i thought i had damaged the engine, but it was nothing

i never used a racefuel on my car. Here we have two types of pumpgas, 95 octane or 97 octane which is premium 95.. but i'll pull out the battery, hope it works.

Stock ECU will boost you to 1,0bar...If sport made is pressed, you should see an awwor and max boost of 1,2bar...If you dont see that,go to a porsche service center and lubricate wastegate rods...they tend to stuck and dont let turbos to get max boost...(asuuming you ve checked for leaks...)

Just had my 08 start acting sluggish last week - was still hitting 1.2 bar in Sport mode, but seemed to be spooling up very slowly. Got a CEL on my way home from work and stopped by the dealer. They told me it was the MAF sensors, same as you, and ordered 2 more under warranty.

They said the slow building boost was due to the bad MAF sensors as the car would not know how much airflow it was really dealing with (at least that is what they told me). New MAFs should be installed within the next week - I'll let everyone know how it turns out.

BTW, I just bought this car a couple of weeks ago and the dealership told me the ECU has already been flashed when they connected to check the CEL. Nice! There is $3k+ I don't have to spend...

I think you just answered your own question - if rev limiter has been raised, ECU has been modified.
