ECU can be modified without increasing rev limiter

my last oil change was at 4000 miles (now i have 10400) and the air filter is so dirty.

shotcaller; after these mods i'll try to run 7.4 .. but my goal is to have 5.5 after doing some hardtunes like new turbos etc. I guess 7.4 is realistic
Bear in mind that those Techart wheels are really heavy...

How is oil able to enter into the intercooler hose? The oiling system is contained to the turbo oil feed. Return line should go into the crankcase.....not inlet hose. I fail to see how the oil can leak into the IC hoses unless it is bi-passing the bearing and shaft seal, leaking out into the compressor wheel area then into the inlet IC hosing.

He checked again and said that there's an oil in the intake hose and it was wet. But the passenger side hose was clean and dry. Any ideas or suggestions ?
A leaky turbo shaft seal cant cause boost loss. It may create some smoke and cause some oil consumption but thats basically it. If the shaft is heavily worn the impeller may be fouling on the housing so the shaft speed may slow. Anyway the turbo could be reconditioned rather than renewed.

Was you car smoking at all on the odd start up out of one bank? Any other symptoms other than boost loss?

well, we were 2 persons, and half tank of gas. The wheels are 20" HRE's. The guys at evotech told me I have to drive the car couple of days as the transmission needs to adapt itself again and next week they will read the ECU and will send the logs to Germany, so they can improve it for a new remap for the ECU and to the transmission.

so we are expecting 0-100 2.9 and 100-200 6.5 sec's next week. I'll keep you guys updated.

After we installed everything, we went out for a test drive, and we were shocked when we saw the car was at 0.8 bars, which was lower than stock turbos. I was goin nuts But the only thing that we didn't change was the ECU remap. So we head back to evotech and remapped the ecu and transmission, went out and bam! I saw the PSM light was flashing on acceleration. I was happy like a kid !

So the boost problem was all about the ECU malfunction.
