Hi All,
I just join the 6speedonline three days ago. This is my first Porsche 997 GT2. Can anyone advice the what NOT and what NEEDS to look out for?

Welcome and very nice choice. You should post some pics...I'm sure many more would reply. Not sure what your skill level is but porsche driving school would be my first vote in the "to do" list to take full advantage of the vehicle's capabilities.

If u ever start modding u will find that

1- Stock tires really sux
2- Stock clutch will not hold long time ( after u reflash it )
3- stock intercoolers is not good. The car will start pull timing specially above 150mph
4- If u ever hit +600rwhp ( after modding ur stock turbos or bigger turbos ) u will need to change ur stock intake manifold and plenum to 997 turbo intake manifold and plenum.
5- Stock exhaust really work great even after reflash or modded stock turbos

they called the 996 gt2 the widowmaker...drive safe and enjoy it

Simply don't push the car too hard on low end, due to traction. And be safe!
