GT2 sway bar settings? Advice please.
Hi, just wondering if anyone has any advice on the settings for factory GT2 swaybars on a 997TT with stock suspension.
Front bar has 4 holes - I set it at softest
Rear bar has 2 holes - I set it at hardest
I think this will reduce understeer.
I haven't really tested it too hard. Just hoping to see if anyone has some insight before I kill myself if there's too much oversteer lol.
Any help or suggestions highly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

that setup sounds like it would make the car oversteer but every car/driver is different.. how did it make it feel? are you happy? do you feel safe? leave it alone not happy? keep adjusting.. thats how i set mine up on a 996 gt2 i had way too much oversteer so im one off of full hard up front and rear at full soft.. car feels alot safer now..( im not a suspension pro )

How does your current setup currently feel? Is there too much oversteer or understeer? There is a lot of driver perception when it comes to over and understeer...one man's feeling of "safety" is another man's understeer. The easiest way is to push the car and dial in the settings on your own preference.

The GT2 sway bars have 5 holes up front, 3 holes in the rear.

Installer said they went in without a hitch. These are the part numbers from Suncoast:
1 997-343-701-92 STABILIZER 1
2 997-343-792-00 BUSHING 2
3 997-333-701-96 STABILIZER 1
4 997-333-792-95 STABILIZER MO 2
Bob, perhaps you can confirm if these are indeed GT2 swaybars?

hm....some months ago HR sways were installed...I am quite happy with them...but disliked the fact that they weigh twice as OEM units...Perhaps i would switch to GT2 sways,i really hate to add weight to my car...
