Know of a Dark (not white-ish) Carnauba Wax?

Is there a black-colored carnauba wax that can build up a little residue in those seams without seeing them so much?
I'd rather not mess with the wax remover I have (from Griot's) thinking it will wear out the new wax somehow.
Just use a better wax. It's not the carnauba that's on the seams, it's the other ingredients in the wax formulation. Here's a wax that's not too expensive and won't leave the white residue behindOriginally Posted by Mertin
Thanks in advance. My car is meteor grey and the Griot's carnauba wax I use collects in the seams and looks whitish. I used to get that stuff out with a soft toothbrush on my other cars but I fear this German paint won't take it.Is there a black-colored carnauba wax that can build up a little residue in those seams without seeing them so much?

Carnauba waxes reflect back 100% of light and most synthetics reflect back 80%. You get a warmer "glow" from a carnauba wax rather than a bright shine that takes away from the depth of the paint color. Other than that, products like zaino aren't bad and are better than what you'd find on the shelf at an auto parts store.Originally Posted by dianic
why use carnauba based products when there is such incredible chemistry out there these days? Try Zaino. I have nothing but amazing things to say about their products as a long time user.

Thanks Moe. I do concur that I have also heard that. However, watching my friend go nuts buffing his zymol while I just apply and wipe all the zaino's I use makes me think I am the one with the better deal... Originally Posted by MoeMistry

Note that I am talking about elbow grease application, whereas you are most likely working with the orbital waxer which I am not knowledgeable enough to handle!
I concur with the above posts. Use a different carnauba wax. Zymol, Pinnacle, and P21S should not leave any residue behind to discolor the seems. Also, try applying the wax in the reverse direction of the seems. So basically apply way from them to avoid buildup there. Hope this helps.
