Standing km/mile times and speed
Standing km/mile times and speed
Hi, as we have the thread concerning 100-200 and 60-130 times, why not standing accels times?...

1000DA: 20,94' and 265,8kph
(400DA: 11,93' and 206,6kph)
1609DA: 28,68' and 297kph

Really appreciate your effort on registering those records

But only trap speed, no times for standing mile
...
You'll have to take this with a grain of salt (unknown slope, headwind, temperature, etc.)
997 GT2 29.29 seconds, 173.94 mph (279.93 km/h)
ZR1 29.45, 176.59 mph (284.19 km/h)

Interesting,
I kill them a little, confirming my dyno sheet; in the wait to do better
...(also their AT seems higher than mine 7,5°C, I would say a little 20°C)
Hard to say anything about the conditions for which the runs were done. Perhaps someone in the UK can comment on the slope of the airstrip.
I have the information you need on that since I have done a fair bit of testing at Bruntingthorpe.
See the attached image which shows the gradient. It is not flat as you can see for the first 3/4 mile it is on a slight incline.
It is a slow surface as well that doesn't help. Very difficult to get grip.

No issues. The best I achieved in a standing mile there at 1.3bar was 193mph. Have run there at 1.5 bar but didn't get a standing start on the actual straight but did manage a 0-160kph in 6.27 seconds on another part of the track.
That image I posted was when coming off the bottom bend at 100kph and then flooring it from then, hence the slow time. Have done 0-300kph there at 23.7 secs.
