I'll stay away from Alcantara like fire, on every car I've seen after not much time it's starts to look bad, and then after a couple of years it's just horrible and has to be replaced or re-done (including a BMW I had).

Carbon fiber top would feel very similar to wood top if you ever drove one.
I personally like it (wood) on top, and when driving spirited anyway you grab the sides with the leather.

 

Decided on DCT wheel. Smooth black leather on top and bottom with yellow center ring on top. Perforated sides black leather extra thick. Yellow stitching all the way around. Now the hard part, the wait. Will post up pics when it gets here
