Heavy clutch pedal

Hi,

if my car has been sitting for 3 or 4 days the clutch pedal is very difficult to depress initially, then once on the move its back to normal. Not a problem if only sitting for 1 or 2 days.

Any ideas.

2008 911 turbo.

Rgds.

Normal if the car has been parked up for a fair while. You will find if you depress your clutch pedal a few times once the engine is turned off the pedal goes hard after a few pumps as the build up in the accumulator is used up/bled out. Once you restart the engine the pressure recovers in the accumulator.

Hi,

was never a problem for the first 2.5 years when off on holiday and left the car for 2, sometimes 3 weeks. Only recently noticed it and hopefully the new accumulator has cured the problem.

Time will tell.
