I looked at both cars and they are clean. The interior of the 2008 looks nicer with the carbon package and the red stitching, etc.

Tough call. Not sure I see the justification in $10K for the 08. Nicer aesthetic options, but together with the slightly higher mileage, I don't know if it's worth it.
Adaptives are definitely nicer than the standard seats. I never adjusted the seats much when I had them, but others swear by them. But neither are better than the sport buckets
I say if you can negotiate to mid 80's for the '08 (longshot?), then I'd go for that one.

Option 2's interior sounds badass... might be more expensive but how long are you going to keep the car?
In the long run #2 might be an easier sell with the options when you're ready to get out of it (If I was looking at two turbo's with 40-50k miles in 4 years, I'd like the carbon/red/etc etc)... but on the flip side, the cheaper, less miles car makes more "sense" today.

Thanks Bone. 2008 is at the FU price as such no chance to get it lower. I tried. Also the 2007 has a SSK as well.... I could easily add some "color" to the 2007 for a few dollars. What's another year in depreciation? Can we quantify?

Options may help, but I don't think 07 vs 08 makes that big of a deal. At least not for me.
I would do option2 but the price could come down a bit...It's always nice to have more warranty...Between 07-08 there isn't much of a difference...But I would think for the high 90g's range you might be able to find 09 which there is a huge difference...
should i get 07-08 w/ tiptronic or wait a couple of years for cpo tt pdk's to be available. i heard that 08 models have m1 metzger(spelling?) engine which supposed to be a strong engine.anyone know more about it?
For a data point I just bought my first Porsche this weekend, it's a 2008 911 Turbo with 3,xxx miles. It has a laundry list of options and an original MSRP of 150k. Paid 89,000 for the car, so I think you can get them down on the price of the '08 option. The interior options are really cool.
right now you will see a huge price difference from 09 to 2010.
need some to come off lease..
long term I think the PDK will add alot more to resale value.
I am kind of a car *****, and buy and keep them awhile and sell them again. I always look for the Porsche with the most options simply because when I resell, that's what folks are looking for. simple premise, but it has held true
