HP vs 60-130
This is a good "starting point"... but there are outliers that dont fit the bill. TTboost on the 996 forum has barely broken 600 on my dyno, yet runs 5.8-9. Based on the chart above that's a full 100 hps "off".
Power under the curve, driver, conditions, grade... etc etc etc all play a role.

Thanks Dave, but my car is not full weight. Its never been dynoed but I would guess more like 680 whp. I ran it in ideal conditions too.
Thanks Mike, still outstanding time/drive and set-up. How much weight reduction would you estimate?
Ok Dave!
I will play...
This is an old post from Gene (Eclou) on the 60-130 thread. I believe the faster times probably have too much power associated with them but I think the slower times are pretty accurate for full weight 996/997TTs...
Does it seem reasonable that whp vs times look roughly like this:
whp 60-130 s
400 10
450 9
500 8
550 7.5
600 7
650 6.5
700 6
750 5.5
800 5
900 4.5

One of the variables is also the type of gas used - pump gas (91,93,94), 1/2 pump 1/2 race gas, and just racegas. What's the best time anyone has had on just pump gas (93-94 octane)? I get the impression that the A28 turbo is very "driveable" and can produce really good 60-130 times. I'm not likely to go much faster than 130 very often so the 60-130 time is the most relevant yardstick for me.
K24F, I'm not sure how old your vtg turbo mods are but there have been advances - extrude, bigger compressor wheel etc... so the performance of vtgs may not be maxed yet in your setup.

My 650 is Crank HP.
Thx man!
