Planning to visit the dyno
I was looking around for a dyno but could not find one which was compatible to the 911 turbo awd system.
A few days ago a friend told e about a dyno being builded in my region, is an awd dynojet which connects front and rear axle with a belt.
My questions are:
Where should I tie the car from?
Is it safe to use the tow hooks?
Do I need to remove bumpers?
How many blowers do i need?
Which gear should I dyno test (tiptronic)
Anything I should be aware of?

HI,As I have been on the dyno with my car alot over the yrs........Make sure they have powerful enough fans to blow into the exit ducts or the inlet ducts of the intercoolers..This is a must!....Then the one large fan in front center of the car or some put 2 fans on each side of the front.......I have been to shops where they open the rear deck when they dyno and I have been by Tony at EPL who keeps the rear deck lid down..Tony says it doesnt matter if its down??I have never had place remove my bumpers or seen it done in person.I have seen pictures of tuners dynoing with them offf but I think that is more for them working/tweeking the car when on the dyno??Any dyno operater should know where to tie down the car because it is his fault if it gets loose, even though its after the fact AND if doesnt know how I would not bring my car there.....lol.....Good Luck........
