Vorsteiner

Does anyone have experience with Vorsteiner 911Turbo Body parts and wheels? I have read some less than complementary threads on various forums but not sure if they are overly picky customers or genuine problems.

I have also read that some parts are made in China of which I want nothing of but not sure if these are cheap shots or again, genuine findings.

There website and apparent quality within seems genuine but wanted verification.

Thanks for the feedback.

hypers09 is infamous around these parts
I have the Vorsteiner aero kit on my 07 turbo and I am extremely happy with it. I am also happy with all the help Eric at Supreme Power and Andreas at Vorsteiner have given me. They are a great bunch of guys. Should you order your kit I recommend you going with Eric at Supreme. If there are any problems with your order he is sure to make it right.

Don't know where they were made but my rear spoiler (decklid) is starting to crack. I guess nothing will beat OEM parts.

Thank you for your inquiry on Vorsteiner products. We wanted to shed some facts on some of your questions:

-Vorsteiner products are currently manufactured at our own production facility in California. All of our parts are made using our proprietary pre preg autoclave process that yields incredible strength to weight ratio and OE level fitment.

-There have been unfortunately companie(s) that have replicated our designs that are selling inferior quality products at a lower price point. We have heard reports that these parts exhibit numerous fitment and quality issues and advise all consumers to be wary of these replicas.

-Genuine Product Warranty- We offer a 2 year limited warranty on all of Vorsteiner Original parts and stand behind all of our products.

We have several authorized Vorrsteiner dealers on 6speedonline that may be able to assist you including: Wheelsboutique | SupremePower

Please see link to below to a recent V-RT build thread done by Wheels Boutique:

Slow911TT68Tip: I wanted to jump in on this....I have seen these cheap shot threads and I guarantee that we offer only genuine high quality Vorsteiner products. There have been some issues with replicas but all GENUINE Vorsteiner products are manufactured in Southern CA and come with a certtificate of authenticity. The quality is second to none.

All products go through a rigorous quality control process to ensure you the highest level of quality you can come to expect from Vorsteiner products. I have seen some items that they deemed not perfect and trust me its crazy how much scrutiny goes into their quality control processes.

If you have any questions or need any assistance please do not hesitate in contacting me personally. PM, or email eric@supremepower.com or phone 714 632 1951 x225

Our close relationship allows us to get your orders produced with the shortest lead times and also allows us to keep you guys updated through the process.

im surprised that the name would even come in to question, i have seen nothing but exceptional work from Vorsteiner whether it was BMW or Porsche; met a few of their guys at SEMA as well; definitely a good company and worth mentioning

side note: i personally think they do some of the best wheels out of all the companies available in the market currently

Dear Sir: Thank you for the reply and explanation. My statements were carefully chosen not to offend but to gain information based on what I would also regard as "Cheap shot threads". Your reply makes me feel much more comfortable. If you search Vorsteiner you will find a vast amount of negative statements but based on you website, the wheels boutique car, I am and remain very impressed by the product. The problem is in the market of aftermarket there are alot of shoddy quality and an ability of those companies to keep on chugging along, shipping product to uneducated or unkowing customers with good intentions of building what they believe will be a masterpiece when completed. I am sorry I did not reply earlier as I was in Asia and then have just returned after a 32 hr flight. I have ordered a number of Vorsteiner parts through my builder, a very well respected company, Champion.

Please do not take my statements as negative but rather a concern founded when I started doing searches and the information I found from unsatisfied customers. I do hope the parts arrive in short order and as described. I will be the first to post my findings and pics of my car upon its completetion on my very low mileage 2008 GT2. It is just another masterpiece I have built and given your response and those whom have posted positive reviews I feel much more comfortable. The GT2 will be a very special car with a target of 750 WHP and 800 FT# on 93 Octane and much higher on race fuel.

Thanks you very much for the information. I may be contacted directly through Champion if you would like to discuss my parts further. My aim is to build one of the finest GT2's to date.

Sincerely,
Slow
