2012 Turbo on order
Crap! That's the whole summer@!
I just drove mine home from dinner... It is so flippin' fast, my wife was nauseated
On my way to work I had it up to 115 MPH after some guy in a modded Camaro wanted to race. Never could see his face in my rear view mirror.

Plus they typically hold next year's model until after the current model deliveries are completed, then factory shutdown in Aug, ship new models thereafter, arriving late Sept if lucky.
I had a June build 996 C2Cab back in '98, got pushed to July, arrived November. Go figure.
Good luck with the wait.

Thanks, that all makes sense. I'm not suffering, I also have a GT3 and I live in So. Florida where it's always summer.

It's pretty simple and has nothing to do with the car. I love my GT3 and drive it every day and track it as often as possible. I'm a Skip Barber grad. I own a small company and the company leases the car. The lease expires late this year and there will not be any GT cars for 2-3 years. PFS will not extend the lease. I don't want to give it up but have to as their buyout is crazy.
I have a C2S coupe on order, order was placed 4/16, looking at end of May for build and delivery last week of June or 1st week of July.
September sounds strange as there are few, if any 997.2 build slots left
and as soon as the 997 run is over the factory will start to switch over
the assembly line for the new car.

My dealer said that because of the Japanese disaster (earthquake, tsunami, radiation combo) some of the electronic and transmission components are on short order, and their car numbers are reduced and/or delayed. Dont know how true this is but makes common sense.
