I replaced my '09 battery a month or two ago. It was about $95 at my local Wal-Mart.

 

I was told by my dealer that if you are not going to daily drive this car, everyday that you need to plug it in every night or you will be replacing the battery every year or less and delaing with a whole lot of nightmares as far as getting stuck and locked out of the car and Frunk.

the investment in the trickle charger is a must. I got the porsche one with the cig lighter end and all I do is plug it in and shut the door. When I get out I hit the mode button to select car (can also choose motorcycle), and it takes less than 1 minute. After driving the light is orange and the next day (or a few hours later) it shows green.

Mine is pretty new but time will tell. I am just looking to bypass and know hastles that I can avoid. I will keep you posted.

 

had the same story on mine, battery died as well. 2008 and it was on a trickler

 

Just had mine replaced at the stealership. 07 with 20k miles. $300 for the battery only! Ouch
