Failure Sport Mode

Yesterday, I was driving in sport plus (like I always do) shifting ~5K, when I got an error message "Failure Sport Mode", followed by "Transmission Failure" with a small pic of a trans with gears in it! I think that there was some ruffness around 5K. I stopped the car and when restarting there was no error message. I called the dealer and the service guy said to continue driving and watch for any other codes. That didn't sound right so this morning I had it towed to the dealer.

Does anyone know what the codes mean or what may have happened?

BTW, I tried to compose this and post it using an IPAD. Not a very good experience even with a keyboard. Almost threw it out the door. Should have sent it back with the car.

It happenned twice over a short period a few months ago. The dealer found nothing and it hasn't done it again. both times it was under hard acceleration from a stop.

I am now driving more with psm off and the engine feels more responsive and the car very quickly moves out. Maybe some connection where psm affects how much power is put down.

frankie997 is infamous around these parts
I just traded my 11 GT3 for an 11 Turbos Cab. [back issues]

I had the same issue.
What I was told was the brake was touched at the same time as the accelerator and the sensor was activated telling the CPU there was a failure.
That is the code which was triggered.
I will reset itself, but I think the trouble code is stored.
