After driving 996TT's for 8 years, I've finally moved to the 997TT. Just when I was starting to get frustrated in my search for a car, a forum member offered to sell me his car. As luck would have it, he was in the Bay Area, had a white car (my 1st color choice) and was a super nice guy. I appreciate all the helpful input received from forum members during my search. Special thanks goes to Sharky, maverick997 and M32911S for their helpful advice. I had a PPI done just for peace of mind (since the factory warranty expired last month) and the car passed with flying colors. I am on cloud 9 with my new toy.

Some info about the car:
07 997TT, carrera white/black, 6sp, 11K miles, heated sport seats, sport chrono, rear diff lock, carbon package, white painted seatbacks, rear console painted white, white gauges, painted front lip/rockers, park assist, factory wheels painted black, etc. etc.

Aftermarket upgrades: EVOMSit tune, IPD Plenum, GT3 TB, Tubi exhauts, stage 2 clutch, B&M short shifter, GT2 side skirts, Techart I rear wing/black tips/mirror inserts, tinted tail lights ......

Oh, did I already mention that the previous owner was a great guy. He offered to put all the stock parts in his mini van and delivered them to my house. Thanks Peter!

I really wanted a white car too. I was very close to buying a modified white 07 Turbo at Momentum Porsche in Houston before this car became available locally. I did a lot of research on that car with the help of another member in Houston. It looks like a good car too. PM me if you want details. Good luck with your search!

That is beautiful John! Every white car IMO looks sweet with black wheels. Esp if the calipers are colored to prevent that "floating on nothing" look.
