This morning I went to adjust my fan speed and when I did so a large piece of the rubberized finish came off. Of course the plastic underneath is white, so it sticks out like a sore thumb. Has anyone run into the same issue, and if so how did you fix it?

 

Id ask bumperplugs see if they know a fix, they are pretty good with interior paint etc.

 

See if the dealer will cover it.

I have the same problem with my controls if anyone does know of a fix it would be great.

 

Duplicator flat black, or spend $450-700 to replace the AC control unit.

 

Temporary solution is to use a wide, chisel tip black Sharpie marker pen. Will get the white out of your sight while you search for a permanent fix. Dealer may be able to replace the fan switch, worth looking into.

 

Same problem from the first year I bought the car
Not covered by warranty cause they assume that this goes off because of wearing perfume

 

 

LOL I have one of those on my desk and just used it and it did the job for now

 

I'd definitely take it back to the dealer if still in warranty.
