Were these weights confirmed w/ scale Bob? I mean 15.9 lbs is *unreal*; I am jealous.

I was so excited, I just put the tires on right away and forgot to do so.

 

Ha ha Bob. Funny thing and now it could be told: I thought once or twice whether to ask about the confirmation because I didn't want to offend/act doubtful to a true super mod ("Come on this is *the* bbywu we are dealing with - he must have weighed them 5 times already.").

 

I think I can work this out, because I know the weight of my tire...

I'll try and weigh the tire/rim combo this weekend.

 

The only issue I have had with my OZ's are the center cap on the fronts came off due to the heat of the brakes on a canyon run. It seems the are only held on with double sided tape which melts when the brakes are really hot. So, to cure the solution I stuck some aluminum foil on the inside of the cap and the issue has not happened again. Otherwise this is a great wheel package.
