I edited the first post to include the data for the 63.5mm upgraded vtgs with the latest version of the tune I just got from Proto. Some things to keep in mind:
stock times were done when temp was in 40s. Proto tune times were done with temps in 50s-60s iirc. Latest times were with temps in the 70-80s
The 30-90 and 30-100 times aren't much different with upgraded vtgs but at least they aren't worse! seriously, they are bigger turbos and since there is a little bit less oomph around 2-3k rpm (upgraded vtgs vs tune alone) the 30-90 and 30-100 numbers suffer since the rpms are so low when doing it. Above 3.5k the bigger vtgs pull much harder.
I hope this data helps someone decide on an upgrade path and what to expect with each level. No question, the ecu tune alone along with high-flo exhaust is a great bang for the buck. But the upgraded turbos and intercoolers REALLY improve things especially from a roll. Start at 70mph in 3rd or 4th gear and nail it and as impressive as the tune alone was it is just no match for the bigger turbos. THIS is how the car should have come from the factory.
In my opinion, a difference of about 0.3s is noticeable on the butt dyno. Thankfully none of this data was obtained at a "cost" (i.e. no LEO encounters
