Europipe 1 or 2 for my cab

I have had both versions of the Europipe loud and quiet on 2previous 996tt's. I now have a 997tt cab and find myself only feeling I'll be happy with another EP.
Stef is recommending Stage 1as he feels the Stage2 is too loud for a cab. I live in a very quiet small neighborhood where neighbors are close all around and I am an early train rider. I also have to consider that I can't be rattling homes as I run for the train. I love the EP sound and would be happy with either. I bought a Fabspeed used and just don't think the sound is as rich.

Any thoughts from actual users especially cab users greatly appreciated.

Silly question, did you hit the sport button? I have the TTS and with the sport button lit, it sounds great. Not a throaty as some exhausts I have owned in the past, but as you mention, I live in a neighborhood where I dont want to wake the neighbors. I usually turn off sport before I turn into my development out of courtesy. Even during the day, people think your going faster thab you are if the car is loud.

Just my 2 cents.

Thanks for the reply. Unless my facts are not correct the TTS is a very different car with a different exhaust. The Sport button on the 997.1 engages the overboost mode and increases throttle response. It does not engage a "Sport Exhaust " type sound.

Even on 997T.1 the Sport button also deepens the sound slightly. Very subtle, you may notice it at idle when pressing Sport if it's not too noisy around you.
With an aftermarket exhaust it's just a little more with Sport on.

Seems you answered your own question . Go for the stage 1, Stef knows what he's talking about.

I have the FVD Loud exhaust and no question that with the top down it is LOUD. I love it and am very happy. Makes me feel like I'm driving something really exotic and special - true nature of the car especially with the PSM off and in sport plus. BTW with the top down the stereo is pretty useless.
