Recall issue...

Well I took my turbo S inlast friday to the dealer to have the rcall issue on the center locking hubs done. The dealer was great but i did not check all the wheels before I left figuring everything was good.I have not drove it since then. However, today while washing it I noticed 2 nice scratches by the hub.I felt like ann *** and called the dealer and told them and they said bring it back so they can look at it.I sure wish I looked before I left...My main question is it possible for the wheel repair guys to make it look perfect. This is more like a paint job as opposed to curb rash where the sand it.It is on the flat part of the wheel.I am so pissed!!!...Any thoughts? Will I notice it when fixed? Thanks guys for your input!

Post up a picture and I would be happy to weigh in on repairs. I have had wheels fixed before not on the Porsche with great success

Sorry but my camera is broken. The scratches are right outside the center hub where the wheel is fairly flat. Do they make touch paint for these wheels?

A good dealer will make it right, one way or the other. It is difficult to comment further without photos.

Dealers all have contacts with good wheel guys. If they had noticed it and had their wheel guy repair, you would have never known - they are that good.

I am guessing that the middle of the wheel would be more noticeable when repaired as opposed to the edges when curbrash was fixed...agree?

Good wheel repair guy you'll never notice. Just don't let dealer use paint touchup on it get professional fix. Take it by Wheel Enhancement in Culver City and let them look at it.
