I believe everything I hear
I have been a proud owner of a Slate Grey Metallic 997 Turbo since August/September time frame... Today I just learned, after a little questioning and research, that I have been the clueless owner of a Atlas Grey 997 Turbo!

I thought i was a proud owner of a Atlas Grey because my car looks like black but in my documents the car is listed as grey.
This week i found out it's Basalt Black (C9Z) and i have to change the documents of the car before the police catches me again.
in my defense, it looks greyish compared to a black merc. Maybe it needs a wash

You figure you can trust what the dealer tells you
!
Its not that the dealer would be lying to you in this case, but just that they don't know any better. I find that when I am looking into a car, I do a lot of research on it. And when I go to the dealers to test drive it, they usually know less than I do. If they took the time to be more competent about the cars they are selling than they would have more of a following, since they would be so rare and special.
Anyway, gray is classy in whatever shade.

I still have to change all the paperwork but i'm lazy
