Talking How do you feel?

Fortunately or unfortunately, I live a couple of blocks down from Greenwich New Country Porsche, Aston Martin, Ferrari showrooms in Greenwich, CT....

Everytime I roll by there I am like oooooohhhing ---aaaaahhhhing in my heart and mind......

I am even thinking about changing my route around ....but I cant help it...its a bug and I am sure you some of you guys have it.....thoughts?

I feel like a little kid in a candy store....and believe it or not even if I am driving what I have always wated there is something about those new babies parked in their showroom and some really nice ones parked aggressively in their o/s parking lots......

My wife and mom always joke around that my 'mistress' are cars. Whenever my wife tries to track me down and I lie or avoid answering about my whereabouts she realized I have been at the dealerships. I am always snooping around them. Now that I can search online I am not at the dealerships as often. But always wanting to go when I can sneak away.

I am just glad I don't have a dealership on my side of town. Sucks when I need service but I am sure it is cheaper in the long run.

The Porsche dealership is a 40 minute drive from my house and there are no dealerships on the way to and from work. Only ones remotely close have nothing I would be interested in except a GT-R and that is IF I ever decided to get rid of the turbo and get one which is not likely.

I hear ya, same here.... whenever I go into the city (what ny'ers call manhattan) I usually try to pass by 28th and 11th, only because the Porsche dealer is right there and theres always a CGT parked in the corner of the showroom. If i have a few spare moments I go inside and it is a candy store.... today they have 2 Veyrons, every Porsche, every Lambo, Rolls, and Bentley... awesome showroom

This post is so funny. I thought I was the only one stopping at dealerships and checking out the cars. I do it sometimes and I am not even in the market for a car. It's my only vice. The only time that I have ignored phone calls is when I am at the dealership. There is no other place like it. I'm crazy!

My wife asked me what I wanted for fathers day, and I said that I wanted to test drive Porsche's. This is how I started my romance with Porsche. I now own a 997 TTS.

We should show this thread to our wives so they see we are not the only ones. I know I will be showing her, and she will just roll her eyes at me.

I find myself stopping for some cappuccinos and of course the porsches at our local dealership too - Saturday mornings are my favorite!

Cheers,

I am very satisfied with my 997TT. I may stray in a few years, but right now I'm pretty faithful.
