Y-Pipe to TB Hose - What Should One Do?

This hose has popped off on the y-pipe side a half a dozen times. Two times in the exact same spot after I pull out onto my street and bury it....just after changing to 2nd gear....boom! P Dealer says too much boost from my APR flash. Last time it held for a few months. I have been through the previous posts and some say replace with stock because the inside of the hose gets slick after being on/off several times and the clamp won't hold it. Is there an aftermarket solution that is better? See pics.

I had the same problem with my 2010 tt with NO boost increase. We removed the Y pipe and the hose, replaces the clamp (you could tell it was bad since it slipped forward if tightened hard). As extra insurance, we cleaned the Y pipe and the hose with brake cleaner to remove all oil and then used super glue and a new clamp to fix the hose to the Y pipe. We then installed this sub assembly to the TB. It has worked perfectly ever since, including extensive track time.

this is becoming more common, here is what you do

https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...installed.html

The main issue with the stock piece is that removing it a few times ruins the small bead inside thus it can be pushed off even when the clamp is relatively tight. But if you overtighten the clamp it pushes the hose away so falls off with engine movement and even small amounts of boost. A new stock one should fix it but while your in there might as bump it up to the IPD setup and never face the issue again and gain some power to boot.

As I suspected. I slid the hose back on and it seated in but the clamp is sliding inward. I have already made inquiries on a new IPD y-pipe given that this has happened multiple times. Thanks!
