Clutch or not

I've posted earlier about my slipping clutch and received great answers. Knowing I need a new clutch I've been babying the car a bit till I find the time. The car will stall on a 4 gear start and will slip on a hard pull in 5th gear at low rpm and slips sometimes on a hard dig from first to second Well it use too then it stopped for a couple of weeks I couldn't get it to slip at all, quite happy I continued to drive the car as normal maybe 7/10ths daily driving. Well this morning it's back and slipping hard 4th 5th 6th, so need a clutch. Weird thing drive home and now I can't get it to slip. The car was cold each time any explanation, is there any adjustment on these clutches?could I have a leak only sometimes?
I guess at the end of the day I would prefer to not do a clutch, however if I do I'll ad a Sachs and a tune which isn't so bad.

Swap to a GT2 slave cylinder and the car wont slip on a lauch or the 1-2 shift... As far as Putting power to it under a heavy load, 4th, 5th, 6th. Just downshift and avoid that big torque hit. Then you can avoid a $4000 job.
