Searched but came up with lots of installs but could not find a DIY. Any advice for installing the GT2 rockers? Might tackle this next week. Thank you!

if they are the non painted ones that you can get from suncoast then i believe that there are just several screws that have to be removed to take the piece and put the new one on

 

You may want to look at Rottec. I have been thinking about replacing my painted skirt with one that is finished with a matte clear cote to match OEM finish. The question is quality - I dont have any experinece with Rottec. Anyone?

 

Just a quick update, this is a VERY easy DIY. You will need a torx 25 bit and a stubby driver (or use a set of pliars with the bit). Two screws facing rear tire (one under the liner that moves easily) and 6 under the vehicle per side.

You do not need to lift the car, easy 10 minute job per side. Will be posting pics and detailed DIY Thursday.

Amazing how much crap and tiny rocks get trapped in the sills!

Rottec quality is excellent...fitament is above avg. but not perfect, may need to persuade parts a little

 

Some pics..

1. Remove T-25 torx screws, 6 under car, 2 side facing near rear wheel - per side.
2. Pull sill out towards you starting from rear of car gently.
3. Front wheel liner is inside sill, take care when removing (and installing)in this area.
4. Remove retaining tabs from car, most will stay on the car during removal of sill. This is the longest part of the install, they are a pain to get out, I used a flat head screwdriver with extra care.

To install simply I started from front of car as its tricky to get the sill inside the wheel liner. Then start pressing in the sill to the car working your way back installing the T25 screws as you go.













My news ones did not have the inner most metal tab required to secure the screw to, use the ones on your stock sills if needed.

 

Any before and after pics? I tried to look at the part from suncoast and the difference looks subtle.

I needed to tuck back in the loose rear mud flap and this helped a lot. Thanks gmoney and thanks Bob/bbywu for the amazingly and remarkably comprehensive DIY sticky.
BTW my car is missing one of those little screws - do I buy it from dealer and do they have exact replacement screw (size and length)?

I saw also your DIY Tarett drop link installation - I might even try it today. For me who has never done any work on my car, this shows how "stimulated" I am by the DIY thread LOL.
