I've heard the same thing- but I highly doubt that there are only in the US. I'm basing this just on the number of cabs and coupes I've seen go for sale. Congrats on your new cab, and please keep us posted when you affirm the production numbers!

 

Porsche doesn't split out production numbers between 911 variants like they use to. But, we do know there have been 4,253 911s sold in the US through August, so that's an annual runrate of about 6,300. Then we have to make some assumptions. If 15% are Turbos, that's 945. I think most Turbo's now being built are S's, so let's say 80%, that would be 756 Turbo S's. And if 40% are cabs, that's 302 Turbo S cabs.

I have a 997.2 Ruby Red cab, you're going to love the color.

Like you - I tried to get the production #s from them and the closest person to the truth - yet at the same time I'd only give about 80% honor to has told me there are only Seventy One, 2011 Turbo S Cabs in the USA.

I too live in Jersey (North Jersey) and own a black one.

I was "supposed" be there, but got a call from a production company and now I'll be with a film crew shooting for a TV segment.

Joe's show is AMAZING every year! And for a good cause. If a guy from N.J. is going to hike across Manhattan, and all the way out to Strong-Island fighting the traffic both ways ... you KNOW it's a good show!
