I've seen worse.... I wonder how much they scooped it out for

I like how the air bags are nicely tucked back in and now you can tell the engine really bounced around...

Isn't the intact motor+tranny the only thing that lets you call this car "repairable"? Maybe I missed something but the engine appeared to be ok as I glanced through the pics.

Does the rear spoiler raise higher on the cab or is that one higher than normal? I don't think the one on my coupe raises up that far.

Why wouldn't they just fix it first, and then sell it? Is it not worth the trouble? Would it cost them more than it's worth to repair it?

I had a professional Porsche mechanic look at this car today from Strong Porsche in Salt Lake City... this car is totaled. The oil pump has been ripped right out the case and there is a hole the size of your head in the motor. The rear suspension is shot on one side and the front suspension and entire front end would need to be replaced. The front driveline also appears to be damaged. I offered him $15,000 just to part it out.

I also talked with the person who is selling and then sent a nasty gram after I asked if it would start and he said they don't start them due to risk of the motor having an issue... gee, would have been a perfect time to tell me the oil pump was missing from inside the case. Instead, he said it was because the front radiator was gone.

He wasted my time and money... what an ***.

Regards,
Bryan

Report this to the ebay fraud department? Sounds like you could be doing someone a favor and earn some karma points.

I reported them for not being up front with the information when asked... it had to be done.
