I've been looking/researching long and hard for an 07/08 myself in that budget. Finding a CPO with that low miles for $85 is a good deal in my opinion.

However, based on my research sometimes the color makes a small difference. Everything I see is either black or silver (or some silver shade). The other colors like Cobalt Blue, Carrara White, Speed Yellow, Polar Silver, etc definitely are a bit higher.

The CPO Speed Yellow 07 I'm picking up is $80K with 34K miles, but it is loaded to the hilt with options. They're also helping with delivery of the car to my location.

It was a smoking deal, but if you read my previous post car was sold earlier in the morning. Sales guy I spoke with didn't realize that. Car was not local to me. If it had been I most likely would have it in my garage right now.

I am thinking of selling mine. Let me know if you are interested. 07 turbo, 12,800 miles, CPO through April 2013, highly optioned ($145k msrp new). Silver on terracotta, diff lock, adaptive seats, sport chrono, painted PCM, rear center console, seat backs, handles, deviated silver stitching etc. If interested PM me.

That wasn't a great deal so don't beat yourself up over it. As an example, I bought an 07 tip with 7600 miles, CPO for $79K back in April. Good deals are out there, just be patient and negotiate...as an aside, I'm up to 17K miles already!! "Engineered for everyday"...except of course when it's parked in the rain and you get water all over the engine

Couple things:

1. It has been slower than usual at my office the last couple months and I would rather have the cash

2. My wife and I are expecting our first little one, so am thinking of selling the turbo and my dd and just getting a large 4 door (5 series or A6)

Otherwise I LOVE the car and do not want to see her go. Dealers here are lowballing me on a trade number so it would be better to sell private. If someone is out there that offers me a fair price then I will sell, otherwise will just continue to enjoy my current stable.

There appears to be a lot of varying opinions on here with regard to what a good deal is on a 2007 CPO. I just put a deposit on one. 24k mi, CPO until 3/3/13, very clean car, driven by older MD. We are at $78k on this car.... not sure how to share pics on here?

Biggest price difference has to do with miles and options. I think $78k for one with 24k miles is the right ballpark depending on options. But expect to pay a lot more for one with less than 15k miles and more highly optioned.

This one is loaded. Think I figured out how to share some pics. Nearly barfed when the interior was descibed to me.... then saw it. Looks real nice, cost the original owner a ton and I never would have picked this without seeing it

Nice car, prices are def tricky. Thought there would be a season for the turbos, but seem to be holding well going into winter. Hopefully that bodes well for my car. I feel somewhat rushed to beat the 991's and there effect on price of my car, but I am not going to sacrifice what I want.
I only want a black turbo so little limiting and may go up to an 08 or 09 for a few extra thousand to expand search. The one I located only had 8500 miles on it one owner CPO for $85k before negotiation. I thought that was pretty good. Some of the prices I am seeing are much higher than this past spring and summer.

At times I feel like waiting for 2010's to drop at some point. I have heard some people say that 997 Turbos will be at a premium when production stops. I am not sure and do not have experience to comment on that.
Overall doesn't seem like a huge supply so that could be an issue. When cars come off lease typically more and maybe some people are waiting in the spring to make a move, well at least people up north like me.

997.1's will only drop so far, they will have a floor just like the old Supra turbo did based on their moddability. Good time to buy is over the next 12 months IMO.

Relatively cheaper TT's ( Value/deals) have always been out there but the one that have options, are well taken care of and had been pampered, would always bring in higher prices as compared to the others.

I however could never imagine looking at the color every day that i never desired, with out the options that i always wanted, regardless of how cheap the car is ?

Good Luck to all those that are in the process of buying them as they are nothing but amazing machines to own.

That's definitely a reason to like the 997.1! As for being super picky, I'm just no there yet. I'm finishing residency and have never had anything like a turbo before. I've always been a gearhead and have had some cool bikes, but at 38 yo, the only sportscar I've ever owned was an rx8. I'm always begging to take the wifes 335i on the weekends (her cool car after residency 3yrs ago).
