I paid $86k over a year ago for one w/o the Diff lock. Had EVT580 mods and wheels though.

Yeah that was over a year ago though so your 07 was newer car back then. I like mileage on this one and CPO just not crazy about it being an 07 already 5 years old now. Car still ages no matter what the mileage.

I would say buy an '09 for between $95,000 to $100,000+ but then you won't be too crazy about that price ...hummmnnn... either way i don't think you are going to find a loaded low mileage CPO for under $80,000 that's for sure. Prices have actually gone up on these cars over the last couple of years.

You're in my area. Keep in mind that the brand new leftover '11 GTS's will be marked down to near $100k. I agree that the '07 becomes an older car and really keep in mind that you would trade your sweet '09 S for the old PCM without the touch screen. Dealer told me they expect 991's in February and they will need to move '11's, which probably doesn't even clear out that inventory until April. I wonder what the trade in value of your '09 will be? Tough call, move now or wait and then prices on your '09 may be softer as well. Also, these cars seem to benefit more from being driven some, as you say - with very low miles it is still an older car. CPO seems like a very good idea.

You mean to tell me that my '07 was newer a year ago? Oh crap. And, cars will age with time? Double crap.

No offense, but many shopping for a Turbo want a Turbo...not a souped up 'S' in the form of the GTS. And most people shopping for a sports car aren't going to pass on a good deal because you can't use your finger to operate the Navi. You know how many times I've used mine? Maybe it's b/c it operates with buttons...

I agree Turbo or no other 997 for me. Rather go with a 991S and pay an extra 10-15k than a 997gts.

Navigation I never use mine either. Issue for me would be more mechanical with 07 not PCM or minor cosmetics. I view Turbo as more of a keeper car than my C2S.

Unfortunately 07 Turbo I was looking at literally sold from underneath me. Low mileage CPO Turbo at right price new it wouldn't last too long. Amazing how coming into winter it seems like Turbo prices are holding very strong if not inching up. I think I could have gotten a better deal this past Summer, but at that time I was too obsessed with 09's and there were just not enough around. Probably would have had an 07 or 08 in garage right now had I put more effort into that search.

Good luck with your search. Should be interesting to see if the market changes when the 991 is out, but it is really a different market, so there may be limited impact.

Seemed like a fair price, sorry to hear it got away from you.

I was hung up on speed yellow so it took a few months to find my car (got it 1.5 yrs ago). Spent a few months searching, was shooting for 07 with < 25k for mid 80s. At any given time there was usually only one or two cars that met my criteria for sale in the entire country.

The 991s are really pricey so I think they will serve to maintain existing used prices because they'll be too far out of reach for a lot of people... we'll see.

Good luck! It will be worth the hunt

Since we are on the topic what do you guys think about 07 CPO, manual with 24K, all options (sport chrono, adaptive seats, everything) for $78k? Clean, Black/Sand, 997.2 wheels, new tires, clear-bra on the front. I wanted it for $76k, they are standing firm....

PPI is done and clean....

Sounds like a good deal to me. If the car is really what you want then I wouldn't pass for $2k. You're just wasting driving time in your new-to-you 997TT by not having it in your garage!

Grab it..and enjoy!

Sounds like a good deal..my '07 was $86k with CPO/13kmiles/loaded including PCCBs just 6 months ago. Go get that thing..holding out for $2k is meaningless self-torture at that price point.

Sounds like a smoking deal. Have them toss in a few comp services to get closer if possible. Cost them next to nothing and everyone wins -
