First off if anyone has the install pdf i would be grateful if they could fwd/pm me.

Secondly why do u need to get the dealership to program them in? Can u not run the power to a source that only comes on when doors open eg dome light? Why the complicated installation?

Any insights and experiences would be very much appreciated.

It is a bit odd about programming but I discovered when I replaced an ECU that virtually EVERYTHING has to be coded in...even stuff that is standard on every 997 out there like power windows.

I did mine myself and no I did not have to program it at the dealer. THe sills come with the wiring, which connects through the door panel, biggest PITA is taking the old sills out (glue is really sticky) and ensuring you dont damage any of the clips that hold the door panel

I have illuminated carbon sills. This pics aren't great, but will show how they look.

I am a buyer now so where do i purchase them .. I guess i can wait until Ed ( Bonehead) decides to take them off
