No mounting posts so you'll have to custom install.

I saw a guy mount the color ones on the sides of the front 1/4 pannels like a Ferrari badge. Not my cup of tea.

I just purchased a silver plated standard badge off RiA so I'm not really need a new one. I did like the color combo on this crest but the problem, like stated above was the lack of mounting posts. Does anyone have a metallurgy composition of the Porsche crests? If so I could probably break out the T.I.G. and make a few of these.

Thanks

Since there's no posts, you could use the really strong 3m mounting tape that Home Depot sells. You can also get it from Rite-Aid. It's the 5lb mounting tape and has red that you peel off, then the mounting tape itself is grey. Just like the package says, it's SUPER STRONG, it really is, I use it all the time. DO NOT use the white 2lb foam mounting tape, it's not even close to as strong as this stuff. Here's a pic for reference.

Thanks, if I do the satin clear bra on the hood I may try this and see what she looks like. Funny how I only figured welding as an answer.

Otoppero,
Let me know if you don't go with the badge from RiA. I would like to put it on my Atlas Grey 997, but you beat me to the punch. I was wondering how to change the steering wheel badge as well, but couldn't find a replacement.
Thanks

Steering wheel badge might be a little more problematic since I believe it is part of the airbag cover.

KPZL is infamous around these parts
Has anyone tried using a tinted adhesive film on the wheel badge?
I would also try this on the hood.

one other question, does anyone make a tinted film that would be suitable to 'smoke' the lights? I'm not wanting to use paint?
