Centerlock wheel options?
Centerlock wheel options?
I am wondering what my choices are for my TTS.
I actually like the stock wheel but I just wish the offset was more flush with the fenders.
I had HRE p40 on my 07 turbo which is my favorite wheel ever.
The p40 center lock wheel, to me, looks nothing like the regular p40 and has too many spokes.
So now I am looking for a different wheel, as similar to the regular p40 as I can get. Or maybe something else that may be the new awesome thing.
I have also heard of some aftermarket wheels not fitting properly in the center lock hub and subsequently getting loose.

Exactly my opinion of the P40 CL wheels, which look fairly similar to the Champion/SharkWerks designs. P40-like design with a similar amount of spokes would be perfect, or something similar in design to the BBS FI wheel.
I like them too. Just wish the offset was a bit more aggressive.
Hey David.. tough choice... which wheels do you have stock? I'm wondering how much you could get for those too

Ah roger that... It was a decent attempt by Porsche but the thing that seemed off was the offset- especially in the rear. It's so tucked in it's crazy. And of course you can't actually do anything about it with a spacer...
This is how it should be:

Dare I say that might be too far out?

Ah the angle might be a bit iffy as it's hard to capture but the wheel/tire is now just inside the top of the fender instead of a good 1.5 inches a la factory

Thanks

Enjoy that beast that that car is-I can't believe how different the power comes on when it is below 50 degrees. Tubo cars love the cold. Enjoy!
