Debating between 3 cars.
Debating between 3 cars.
1) 2010 gt3 rs, 2) 2008 gt2 or the 3) 2011 911 turbo S.
I would really love to buy the gt2 rs, but it is way out of my price range. I will be going to the track 2 to 3 times a year at the most. I love horsepower on cars but i am not hp freak, the car has to have the perfect balance of power, handling, braking and civility on public roads. This car will be a weekend only car and will not be a daily driver.
Thank you

Not the Turbo S. Either of the Gt cars. Since you are not tracking a lot I would do the 2. You can add 90 hp/tq for about $7k and for another $3k you can have a suspension that will make it feel like a go-kart.
IMO the 08-09 GT2 is a better long term investment although slightly debunked due to the GT2-RS. It's fast, has launch control, 6 speed, and PASM.... and only about 200 made. May be the best performing / long term value proposition as long as you don't rack up the miles.
The ONLY issue I see with that car is that the gt2RS will always be "the one" as far as 997s are concerned.

Ari, I think 205 were imported to the US...total production numbers were closer to 500ish (I have not seen published number for total production.)

I see your point with the gt2. It's easy to upgrade.
