Motor Upgrade Begins
oh I see. Proto would be great, but $$$ for shipping and of course the work. Autowerks in Toronto have some experience with 996/996tt builds in case you are interested. They do the work on my car and I will probably use them if I decide to build the engine.
Nice Asher. Post some pics of your pimp'n ride when you have them. In the meantime, let the turbo out and breathe some of that nice cold air!
I've got to figure out how to deal with all that power (and balance my budget at the same time). Of course, the cheapest option would be just to turn down the boost.
Here's what I mean--rotated sleeve, too much power?!... lol.

I started the car today for its monthly move. I can't wait for spring! Realistically I'll have it on the road in a few weeks unless we finally get some snow.
Ok your the guy that is doing hes 996 there and doing your own data logging and tuning with Todd k correct?
Are you the one doing your 996tt there and having Todd k do the tuning? And your doing your own data logging?
Everything is apart and I'm just slow to decide what to do. Stay with stock piston/sleeves, go to 3.8, o-ring heads, etc..? .

LOL. It's fun to fantasize but I haven't gotten sucked into the vortex quite yet. It could still come out as a "basic" build due to the cost.
You guys have been simply awesome. Can't wait to put this beast back together. Cheers.
