I am researching window tint film. It looks like there are 2 major suppliers and both are available in my area. (I have also read about Premier in California )

- which provides best optical clarity?
- durability?

I know I will avoid the entry level products and spec the manufactors current 'best level' product. 35% is the max my state will allow.

Any advise, suggestions, warnings are appreciated.

[And while I have your attention I will add paint protection / clear bra to my question.]

I have seen this stuff demoed. Really cool. Even the clear tint stops the heat!

 

I had Llumar on my 350Z for 5+ years, no sign of any wear. Also the rear window looked perfect, which apparently very difficult to do on a Z.

Plus it was vandalism proof as you can try to throw a brick through the tinted windows and it will bounce right back
