Tracked it to a dealer called DZ automotive in Rahway nj as of 12/24.
carfax said the dealer titled it at that time, they had it listed at 59k.
Here's the strange part, I call the dealer, they say they never heard of the car and know nothing about it.
I sent them a letter, asking to help track it, and if sold share my contact info with the buyer. Nuthin.
Anybody in the car biz?

Chris - what was it that you didn't like about the TTS. I'm looking to go from 997.1 TT to the TTS...like you, I usually regret making changes but wanted to know what bothered you. Thanks.

DZ Automotive is a truck repair shop!

I dont understand. how can they say what car, when it is on their recently sold list... I think they are having issues with disclosing identity of their customer. Which is understandable. But to play dumb is just plain.... dumb...
Take a drive up when the weather opens up... I am sure that face to face with the proprietor of the dealer may help your case. He needs to see you are not some kind of whacko - stalker!!

Having said that, if the guy just bought it in December... I am not really sure that he would be keen to let it go... unless for a premium...

AS Mr pip says, cant you get to the current owner by VIN? Through an insurance network? Carfax?

You read my mind. I wouldn't be opposed to letting the guy make a couple of dollars along the way.
Carfax, et al all say the new owner is the dealer, titled to the dealer in December.

Chris it could be the car got sold overseas before even getting put on the lot. Many times brokers will deal cars sight unseen

Pretty sure I'm not the only one thinking this, but why are you so hell bent on buying back your old car? Surely you can get a newer car with less miles??
