Plan B,,,ain't got one!
If you have the opportunity to spend some cash then the only valid Plan B is to start a new love with other car to help you forget the missed blue. Buy a GT2RS and get the latest and last version of the GT1 engine/G50 tranny. Then mod it to your desires and wishes. I bet that you can turn it into a very special car not only by the model but with your good taste in mods, that even in a long future, your grandsons will dream with it.

I remember seeing it for sale at a dealer in avenel. Had to be the same car, 65ish miles and the price was low, IIRC $56k. I called, they said it was sold.

'09

Hey Chris

I feel for you. At this point reacquiring old blue looks meek.

I would get an '09 like me. Last year of the GT1 block, first year of PCM3 etc. I felt and still feel it's the perfect turbo. Hold out for a blue 09 maybe, but as others have wisely suggested it will be newer with less miles which is ultimately better since I know it's a keeper for you. Good luck..

Chris,

It sounds like you've hit a deadend in your search. Assuming you can't get your baby back in your garage, why not simply consider the least numb turbocharged 911 ever produced - a used GT2RS ? The GT2RS would surely fill your performance envelope if you feel the need to stick with a P car.

If you want a change of pace, what about a 458 Italia ? How about a Lamborghini Aventador ? BTW I saw a flaming orange Lamborghini Aventador yesterday (plate said "winning") on Jericho Tpke. in Old Westbury. The crackle of that normally aspirated 700HP 12 cylinder monster was just over the top. My TT sounded like a muted vacuum cleaner next to the Lambo. If I had a spare $450K I'd order one of them. An Aventador would surely eliminate that numb feeling and make you forget you ever had a TT.

Chris - did you contact PCNA in Atlanta? Doubt they would spill beans up front, but after a story or two of your history, ownership, etc...and a cooperative contact there, maybe they can at least tell you the state or city the vehicle was last in.

Hope you find the blue beast...but the '09 is a dream machine too - so keep in mind there may be something out there that fits almost as well.
