Unless you plan on wearing a helmet on the street no, driving with a full race cage is not safe. Do you realize how close your head is to the cage?

Thanks. A properly sorted track car is just another world compared to a street car on the track. It was great fun being on track with some big HP street cars (ZO6, GTR, etc.). They were nipping my heels on the straights but just had no chance in the turns and it was amazing how much the gap would widen.
