I went to a dyno shootout today and there were some nice cars there, Lambo, Scuds and I was in line to dyno my Turbo. I wanted to know my HP since Fabspped exhaust and softronic flash.

So the guy was nice and seemed to be very knowledgable, He told me he would be unable to dyno my car unless he unhooked the front drive line and there was no time to do so today.

Something about the PSM detecting differnt speeds from the front wheels to the rear and the PSM would kick in.

Can someone give details about this. I was disapointed as I was looking forward to seeing my HP.

 

If it was an Awd dyno you should have been fine thats what you need to dyno our cars if it's a 2wd dyno you can remove a fuse & do it ,i know thats what they do on mine when there tuning.

 

well i faced this issue when i went to dyno ... its something in the AWD system that if any tire from the 4 tires slip ,car will switch to limp mode .. so you have 2 options if you want to dyno your car .. the first one is to find a dyno which have a connected rollers so the rear and the front run Equal or you should do the same what i did when i went to dyno the car since we do not have in kuwait a connected rollers dyno .. i switched to rwd mode .. its easy and will not take more than 30mins .. please read my thread .. and if you have any questions i will be happy to help
