Spoke to a friend that owns a few Porsche dealers and that's what I got. Also PDk for gt2 and gt3.

Are you sure it is not a MY2014 available in 2013?

 

pdk would mean whole new motor design for GT cars, very possible I suppose.

 

What about the Turbo? Only PDK or will it be available in manual?

 

He said the c 4. Will be available in 2013 and the turbo in 2014. No turbo for 2013

 

I didn't ask about Manuel, I can't imagen them taking it away, but I know they are going to be coming in the new PDk.

It's all guesses at this point so I wouldn't get too excited until we see something official.

 

Adding to rumors, I previously heard Porsche was planning to bring "one transmission" choice into production for the GT's, and it was currently being determined what was going to win out. Now if their decision process involves installing and driving both on pre-production GT cars, sign me up!

 

Thanks for the reply. I re-read your post and it makes sense now, "2013 991, turbo only available 2014". I am still thinking the TT will be out in mid to late 2013 as a 2014 model, which fits with what your friend told you. As others have said, it is all speculation at this point.
