Question 997TT front cooler protective mesh cover

Hello everyone

As you all know the three coolers in the front skirt of 997 Turbo are susceptible to damage from incoming debris.

Have anyone here installed a protective mesh for these coolers, or something like that?
Interested in following:
1) Where did you get the parts?
2) How much did they cost?
3) How much did the work cost?
4) Do you have any photos of the finished front bumper?

Thanks in advance!

Big thanks?
(btw, what is "VT"?)

From the description I did not understand, does one have to take the whole bumber off? How much does it approximately cost to install these parts?

VT = Vermont. Milton, Vermont. I beleive a lot of 6-Speed members have done this themselves. I've seen several threads with photos and descriptions. If I had the time, I'd do a search, but....

Good luck with the project.

I got the kit from FVD, Rhonda was very nice.
Cost for the kit was approx. $300 if I remember correctly.
I own a shop so we installed it, but it is a bit time consuming so expect to pay for approx. 3 hrs labor.
I remember taking pics but can't seem to find them on my phone, I may have even posted them on here, so i'll do a quick search

thanks a bunch!

From Rennline description (for 2009- 997.2 for some reason), it says:
"1) remove bumper cover and flip it over so that the back side is pointing up
2) Place grilles over vent housings, install clips (enclosed) using supplied truss head screws
3) reinstall bumper cover."

This "bumper cover" I am unsire with, looks like one does not need to take off the bumper, which means the work can be done on ones own? Unless removing bumper cover is only possibl when the whole bumper is removed.
