997TT turbo problems

I seem to be having some issues with the turbos on my '07 997TT. Since yesterday it seems to have lost almost all boost. It never goes above 0.2 bar (3 PSI) according to the boost meter. It also feels like the engine's lost most of it's power above 2.5-3k RPM. On lower RPMs it feels more or less like it used to.

I can hear the turbos spooling up. In fact they seem to be much more audible than they used to be. It's kind of like a constant "psshhh" sound, similar to the sound that can be heard on some "riced" turbo cars with a dump valve. To me it sounds like the turbo boost is being vented into the atmosphere instead of going into the engine, but I'm no mechanic. Could it be a boost leak somewhere? Or does this sound more like stuck VTG actuators, which I hear is a common issue?

Check your hoses to the intercoolers and your Y pipe.

I agree with looking at the hoses. Sounds like you have a boost leak somewhere in the system. Maybe have a friend help by building boost while you listen to the source of the sound.

Yep as was posted likely a boost leak. Pull the YPipe towards you, that was what came loose on me in the past. Gotta give her a good tug.

99% is a leak from a hose...when wastegates stuck you see around 0,8bar...check all hoses and also T pipe just after throttle body...(left and right black hoses feeding air to each cylinder bank tend to slip...)
